Battling terminal cancer, Nightbirde’s performance on America’s Got Talent is unbelievable

In 2020, “Nightbirde” was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given six months to live.  Her husband left two weeks later.

“We are so much more than any bad things that can happy to us though,” she said.

Nightbirde recently won the Golden Buzzer on America’s Got Talent (“AGT”), but recently had to leave the competition because of her cancer.

In her first performance, she performed, “It’s OK” – an original song she wrote describing this past year.

Although she left the competition, she’s already won so many hearts and inspired so many with her words through fighting the hardest battle; to survive.

In a world so challenging, unfair and dark at times, light always overcomes.  Struggles develop strength.

Nightbirde’s strength and mindset exemplify beauty, grace and hope.  She is living proof that we are so much greater than circumstance.

I hope you’ll take a moment to watch her performance of “It’s OK.”  Then share it with someone who might be going through a tough time right now.

First time I watched, time stopped.  Still does.

“You cannot wait for the bad things to go away before you can be happy about your life.”

Even when bad things happen, it’s OK, it’s OK, it’s OK.
